PAYPAL

USING PAYPAL TO ORDER ON-LINE

PayPal.com is an on-line payment service which enables users to send and receive money through the internet on a secured basis. PayPal makes it possible to use your own credit card, or, if you are already registered with PayPal, to order using your established account.

PayPal is one of the largest e-mail payment services with more than 26 million subscribers. It is also one of the most frequently accessed websites in the United States, and services 25 foreign countries as well. Pay Pal was acquired by E-Bay in June, 2002.

For individuals making a purchase, PayPal affords protection against paying for an item but not receiving the purchased article. Although PayPal is not a bank, transactions for verified users (those who have registered an e-mail address and a bank account) are insured by Travelers Insurance Company for up to $100,000.  For verified businesses selling tangible articles via the internet, PayPal provides protection against fraud, unjustified reversal of transactions, stolen credit cards, etc.
The Regent School Press is a verified business.

As such, PayPal provides security for both senders and receivers of cash payments over the internet.

The Regent School Press has adopted PayPal so that our customers may order, pay for, and receive copies of our textbook within a few days of the order, rather than the 4-6 weeks required when ordered through traditional book sellers.
Our text, Introduction to Cashflow Analysis , has an ISBN (EAN) number (978-1-886654-05-1) and may also be ordered through your local bookseller.

Regardless of how we receive it, every confirmed order is shipped by U.S. Priority Mail within 24 hours of receipt. Therefore use of PayPal shortens delivery time from  weeks to a matter of a few days. International orders are sent by U.S. Global Priority Mail and require 3-8 days for delivery. Priority shipping charges for Canada and Mexico are $9.00USD. The charge for all other countries is $11.00USD.

The Regent School Press also services an independent distributor in Corvalis, OR, CalcPro.com, which carries our text in stock and is able to ship immediately.

Please do not rely on this description of PayPal or its services. Instead click here and you will be linked directly to PayPal's site for complete information.

While registration with PayPal requires a few minutes of your time, once registered you may use it to buy any tangible item for sale on the web with a high degree of security.

Thank you.

The following excerpt is from Forbes magazine's "100 Best Web Sites."

"This site has been an innovator in the newly emerging e-mail payment business. Its more than 24 million account holders can now send funds via e-mail or by using a mobile phone; Web site owners and individuals can accept credit card payments easier than ever before (transaction fees are only 1.9%, and the funds can be swept daily into a bank account).

"BEST: Accounts are insured by Travelers Property Casualty up to $100,000 against fraudulent transactions.

"WORST: PayPal’s registration process is painful: Verification of your bank account requires that you access your bank statement and determine the amount of two small "dummy" deposits made by PayPal."
